Check out the Bob is the Oil Guy forums. Look up used oil analysis reports for Repsol. Most forum members on that site use off the shelf brands because they often yield better sample results than premium brands like Motul and Repsol. Generally, the more expensive the brand, the more they rely on testimonials and arbitrary statements than actual data to sell oil. See Royal Purple, Redline, and Amsoil.

If the OP is (really*) in the UK there are proven to work very well oils available overthere.
