Thats a good idea, I should have put a thin layer of Shinitsu grease on.

My Comptech box doesn't fit as nice anymore, but thats b/c I installed a AFE air filter in it.

The recommended way to do it (as per the service manual) is to go through the wheel well by pulling back the splashshield.
