Replacing Cracked Cylinder Head, what else to look for / replace?
I have an 02 s2000, 87k miles, all stock, main use is for track.
Been having a rough idle problem. After knocking out everything else including spark plugs, electrical, valves (including valve adj)... the remainder is the engine, specifically a cracked cylinder head...or I need a new engine. Wont know for sure til it's off, but it's going to be coming off regardless.
Is there anything else that I might consider doing/checking while doing this job? @ 87K miles, I am sure there's probably some stuff to look for, and maybe even replace proactively while someone is in there. Maybe even some useful upgrades that might as well be done at that point.
