Question: would leaving the master reservoir cap help in keeping fluid from escaping when swapping hoses? Kind of how fluid can be suspended in a straw by capping one end?

So just to get this straight, follow gravity bleed procedure then bleed with a friend? Should I finish with a gravity bleed? Wish I could do all gravity, I don't have many friends .

I planed to let the old fluid just kinda drain into the new stuff, it is fairly fresh and should reduce the chance of me running out of good stuff in the event that I need to have a few attempts.

Gravity first. Bleed under pressure second. You will not follow with a gravity bleed.
