the double platinums. what do you guys think?
my new iridiums (already installed)
the iridiums are noticeably better, its very smooth throughout the whole RPM range comparing it with the double platinum and getting about extra 2-3MPG
need inputs on the old ones. how do they look?
edit: oh yeah, gapped the iridiums to 0.040

Looks pretty normal to me, how many miles were on that hog before you changed those? (I assume those are the stock NGK's you replaced)

Are you modded?
future: J's headers, berk's high flow cat. conv.
Why did you go with Iridiums and not OEM NGK's?

The Iridiums, however, tend to be more maintenance free
Who told you to gap to 0.040?

Are you NA or FI?

0.040 is at the end of the gap for OEM. I would error to the 0.044 side but you will probably be fine.
Sounds like you're good to go.
