Default Replace Highbeam with Yellow bulb

so after driving tonight in some super think So Cal Fog. My car being black and wanting to be seen. I was wondering would it help my car to be seen if I replace the high beam with a Yellow bulb and use that as a fog light?

thanks

It wont really work as a fog light because it is so close to your eye level. it might make it a tad better, but it could also make it worse, either way it wont be much different from what you have now.

Fog lights work because they are below most of the fog, and because the light source is far from your eyes ( you dont have to look through the beam)
you can buy fog lights cheap at autozone and put them in your grill. get the metal ones. the plastic ones are shitty.

havent seen a good fog light configuration on an ap2 yet.

but I see your fog light logic. does it also apply to being more visible to other drivers?

Eh, it will hinder your viability driving around with your high beams on, wich is exponentially more important.

Put some strobes in, or drive around with your hazards on. dont know the legality of strobes in CA, Probably illegal.

I noticed you were ap2 because i wanted to tell you about the oddessy fog's

You could also put led turn signals in , they'll be brighter.

i know school buses have strobes on top in white.. i was thinking of doing that somewhere on my bike since i got caught in some fog sometimes late at night. anyways.. to me. fog lights are more for people to see you and cant really do much for the driver. also yellow bulbs in your high beam would make them aim high and you dont want that
