Repair shop in San Francisco east bay?
My usual indie shop is phasing out due to the owner's age. He just informed me that he "no longer works on the S2000". I can't get ANY of the other shops in the area to return a call/text/email about working on the S2000-even the local dealer (from which I purchased the car) doesn't return calls.
Anyone have a recommended shop in the Livermore/Pleasanton/Dublin region?

Not quite the Bay area but close enough for serious work. Driving Ambition in Rancho Cordova, Sacramento.
They specialize in S2000s and NSXs. They race a lot. They are an offshoot of the outfit that supercharged S2000 for Honda that included a factory warranty on the supercharging. They are my "Billman" on the west coast. The only thing I have never asked them about is putting on a new top.

A bit far, but might have to use them if I can't find anything nearby. I previously used an indie shop for our Japanese brand vehicles. The guy was great and even owned an S2000. It seems that he's nearing retirement and for some reason gave up working on the S2000 recently.

Ok, FINALLY got the local dealer to respond. It's not inspiring confidence. Dublin Honda has essentially 100% One Star reviews. Livermore doesn't have it on their dropdown, and the person in service actually asked, "S2000??? Is that a Honda?" Why do mechanics have to get old? LOL

Guess next step is to break the wife down and get her to let my buy a lift so I can do it all myself. This car is too low without a lift or stands and she moans whenever I talk about investing in some.

What are you wanting to do in the way of service?

New S2000 owner so I don’t have any experience with any shops yet but I plan to take my car to Sakebomb in Fremont. I looked into two other shops in the East Bay but Sakebomb was the only one that had an active CA auto repair license. I heard Trackspec in Fremont has done work on S2000s but I’ve only been there for alignments and suspension work on my GTI.

Are you familiar with the DIYGuys YouTube channel? He's in the Bay area (not sure where) and sometimes advertises that he's looking for S2000 work. His username here is Soviet.
Aside from Billman, he's the next person I'd want working on my S2000.
Even if he doesn't work on your car, his DIY videos are extremely helpful.
