Hmm... I'm still leaning towards keeping the windshield, albeit the the mugen SS2200 1 seater model is attractive. ROFL.

I have started cutting out bolts and un used wire harness tho.

How about using aircraft aluminum and pop rivets to build the wind resistant tonneau section. Add a chopped windshield from a Sprite or a Goldwing. I'll bring a few gallons of Aqua Regia incase the nitrogen takes too long. We could even add a single humpback, think 911 speedster, to cut down on the drag from your helmet. Seam weld the doors, removing all hinges and brackets. Add a full roll cage that extends up to the door skins around the seats. I think that will be a good starting point...
