Does anyone know how to remove the top without cutting it up? There's something in one of my roof rails which slides around during cornering and it's driving me nuts.
I saw a thread for removing and installing a new top but that one tells you to cut the old top.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Its probably rivets from when the top was replaced previously. I'm pretty siure there are caps on the ends of the tubing. Take off the end cap on the tube and try to blow them out with pressurized air.

If it's in one of the frame tubes that run from side to side you can just remove the end plugs and blast some air or take a corner very quickly to get it out. Had to do that when my top was replaced and they left pieces of the rivets in the frame.

Don't remove the top, just let it half way down. There are plastic caps on the ends of the supports. Remove both sides and blow the crud out the other end. 10 minutes to no more noise.
If that doesn't work let me know and I'll give you a few more tricks with partial top removal. Removing the top is the last thing you want to do... I replaced mine and would do it again, but it isn't fun.
