I'm trying to remove my throttle body, but I cannot remove the coolant hose that runs on the bottom of the throttle body and attaches to the side of the intake manifold.
There is very little room to maneuver the hose off of either the throttle body or the hose lines that connect to the side of the intake manifold.
I got so frustrated that I used pliers to wrestle with the hose and punctured the hose, causing some coolant to leak (I read that this will stop).
So now I need to know how you guys are able to remove this hose, and also where I can get a replacement hose. I would imagine getting the hose back on would be just as difficult as removing it.
Thanks for the help.

Basically for all coolant hoses large or small, you can use a small/thin flat-head screwdriver to pry the ends loose. Pry the flat-head into the small gap at the end of the hose lifting up gently, and work around the circumference of the hose to break the seal that forms between the hose and the metal pipe. Then push towards the long end and of the hose and you should see the hose break loose. Once that happens you then twist it by hand while pulling gently. Once it starts to move a small amount you know that it is safe to pull loose, if it doesn't move then keep prying with the screwdriver. Be careful not to score the pipe connector.
When you just start yanking on it like you did the seal that is created at the end of the hose is stronger than the hose itself and the hose can break. Break the seal and then pull the hose.
You can get replacement hoses from Honda as they are shaped hoses and worth staying with oem, if you are in a bind you can find aftermarket straight hose but I prefer the oem parts.

another tip is spray some wd40. use pliers at the end of the hose where it connects and rotate it back and forth to break it loose. DO NOT PULL ON IT! if its in a hard to reach spot use needle nose pliers, i tend to use my long reach needle nose pliers with the 90 degree tip.
