Default Removing stock oil cooler

I have the LoveFab Mini-me/V1 turbo so my compressor outlet is down near my oil filter.

I've removed the filter and replaced with an adaptor and installed a large cooler and filter relocator. The stock cooler is still in place.

The AN connectors off the adaptor are very close to the charge pipe and I would like to put some space between them. Removing the stock cooler should be enough.

If I remove the stock oil cooler can I then just bolt the adaptor straight up to the block? If not, what modifications are necessary?

should be able to. there is basically big pipe nipple that passes through the factory oil cooler that and the oil filter threads onto that. the oil cooler has an O ring that seals at the block. if you remove the cooler, you would need to find a shorter pipe nipple with the correct threads to do what you want. thread shorter nipple into block, use rubber o-ring and your sandwich adater to complete the project.

edited to explain a little better.

You'll need the oil filter fitting for a honda block without an oil cooler. US 90-97 Accords and most SOHC Civic's will have the fitting you need.

2000 ex is an Accord or Civic model I assume?

If it's what I need then buying from you would save me a whole lot of trouble. Give me a reasonable price and I'll pay it and shipping.

You have PM.
