removing engine from under the car?

I've pulled engines out from the top and bottom. If I was doing it again on jackstands I wouldn't recommend picking the car up over the engine and subframe.
If the car is on a post lift you can easily pick the car up over the engine and trans.
You quickly run out of room under the car with the crane legs wanting to occupy the same space as the engine and subframe.

yea my space in the garage is pretty limited. I will probably have trouble getting a cherry picker into the front of the garage as it is. The head is off and I have the motor dropped pretty low already. I guess I will just yank the tranny off and pull it out through the top. What bolts do I need to take out on the motor mounts? Can I just remove the top bolt of each side and lift it out or should I remove all of the bolts connecting it to the block?
