I dont know what im doing wrong, I am changing out doors on my car for paint. 04 S2K, and Im trying to get the exterior door handle off and I can not get that MOFO off!! I took off everything u possibly could but it seems like the lock mechanism just wont budge, i removed a round spring about the size of a quarter, a white washer looking thing , the clip that connects to the door rod, only thing left is a gray thing around the lock and It dosent want to move, any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just a guess, but sometimes you need the key in the lock or turned in the lock to remove it.

theres a litle "c" clip on the bottom of the lock that needs to be popped out

You remove the C clip, and there is a bracket that needs to be unscrewed. once you have that free, you unscrew the door handle from the push rod. note: count the turns and make a note for your install.

I figured it out guys, Thanks alot for the info. That little clip is damn near impossible to see. Came right out after i popped it out. Thanks again!
