Default removing airbox lid

I was wondering...what is the procedure for installing a K&N air filter?

I just bought the car 2 weeks ago and was wondering what the easiest way to open the airbox lid is?

Thanks

Release the spring clips on the lid, pull the lid off. The filter slips into the intake boot, and rests in a locating pin on the bottom of the airbox.

I'm pretty sure this is documented in the owners manual.

nope, not in the owners manual.

i checked there first.

also, how do you remove the filter?

just keep tugging at it and pulling till it gets out? I really dont want to do anything wrong since I just purchased the car.

Grab the ring at the small end till it comes out of the box. Then pull the filter from the rubber intake tube. It's pretty simple. Not much brain power needed.
