Default Removal of rear sway-bar

Can it be done without dropping the exhaust? Has anyone done it? I got the bar off the car (bolts, etc), but couldn't un-thread if from the car.

Do I have to drop the mufflers?

We usually drop the left side of the exhaust only. I never really tried but I don't think its possible take off the rear swaybar without detaching one side of the exhaust.

I'm going to be doing this soon, and from the sound of it, since I have a single-exit exhaust, I wouldn't need to drop the exhaust at all right?

Use an oxygen cutter or a grinder. You'll be replacing it, right?

Good idea Alex! I'll make sure to try that.
