i didnt even bother with an allen key at all, use these to get the bolts out, allen keys to put them back in. That way if its sunday afternoon you dont have to worry about striping the allen head and being stuck till honda decides to order you a new bolt.

you can keep the angle on the key, just put a socket on the other end of the angle (depending on size, probably a 5mm socket), then stick some extensions onto the socket to give you a longer handle and break it loose.

AP1's use smaller propshaft bolts than AP2's. They are more prone to stripping the internal hex.
If you chew them up too bad, cut the head of the bolts off and replace. Just don't cut into the propshaft housing when you do it.

Larry ... cut them bro. I just finished doing three freaking clutches and cut the bolts with a dremel. We got new bolts + the 3 funky washer things for about less than 20 bucks.
Usually what I found is that once you cut the bolt head, you can unscrew whats left behind with your hands. Probably due to the heat while cutting. Just split the driveshaft from the tranny flange and unscrew them.
AP1s suck ... they allen is a 6mm. On AP2s its bigger.

damn i wish i had the photos of how i removed mine. It was really the easiest thing ever. Aside from having to jump out from under the car to pull/release the ebrake to rotate the driveshaft.
I bought a set of Hex/Allen drivers which can be used with any standard socket wrench. I personally used my 35" long torque wrench as a breaker bar to remove loosen the hex bolts.
I must say Its VERY important your hex sockets go smoothly and STRAIGHT into the hex bolts. IF they dont go in deep enough or if your angle is off you'll likely strip them.

I Dont think I have enough space to safely cut the bolts off. Might try to get a dremmel if I kill the bolts. Thanks Joaquin.
Im thinking of getting the hex/allen drivers as a first attack.
I will try tonight as I got caught up with drinks lastnight.
Will let you all know the results.
Thanks guys

Easiest way I found was to use your generic allen key and grab a rubber hammer and whack the end of the allen key while using your other hand to make sure the allen key stays fully seated in the bolt.
