I'm running the Spoon pipe with my stock exhaust. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't really notice that big a difference in sound....I do hear a little bit more tone to it, especially when VTEC kicks in. But then again, the S is a pretty loud car to begin with.

jsut the exhuast needs a new gasket(triangle type) Its very easy to install, just note that the cat is VERY heavy compared to the testpipe. It surprised me when I took it off.

what did u use to stop the CEL? i had my friend pick me up a helix o2 simulator.

Have someone drive your car with you standing outside. I found out its not noticable when you're driving the car but you hear more of a difference from outside.
