Relocating Wheel Valve Stem?
I was wondering, is it possible to relocate a valve stem on a wheel? If so, is it safe/recommended?
I've heard of off roading guys doing it, but thats about it.
You're probably wondering why I'd want to do this. Well, the reason why is that I want to fit a BBK on the car and want to keep my current wheels, but my current wheels have the valve stem behind the spokes on the inside of the wheel and it would hit a BBK, so I was thinking I could relocate it to the lip/outside of the wheel where most have it.
I would do this by removing the existing stem, plugging the hole or welding over it (effectively filling it), drilling out a new hole on the lip, and then refinishing the wheels.
Seems like a lot of work and a lot of room for error, and honestly I'm not even sure if I'd do it if I could. Just wondering if its an option at all.
Thoughts?

I run these on my custom bike wheels they are great you just have to screw in filler when you need to check tire pressure
