relocating the secondary air pump?
I have to take the s for emissions by May. I'm installing an aem ems and having a new tune done in March. I have an emange on right now and wanted to try and take the s for emissions before the install and tune. The problem is I'm throwing a code because of the secondary air pump being removed because of the turbo kit. I've searched and search and it seems that the ecu cannot be tricked into thinking the air pump is still connected. Has anyone relocated or moved the air pump so it'll still work with the intercooler and piping? I just need it on for as many miles needed to restart the ecu and pass emissions.

Does the Mugen ECU have OBD compliance? I didn't think it did? If it doesn't you won't be able to use that. Unless Chicago doesn't check through OBD port that is.....
No one really relocates the air pump... they just remove it. With the intercooler piping in the way, have you thought about a new place to put it? Where in the hell would it fit?? It seems to me that by the time you have fab'd new brackets, spliced extensions in to existing wire, sourced new tubing for the extended length, accounted for your time... you are approaching "special" smog time.

Yeah, I don't think so. I need my obd port and I'm not going waste money on another ecu since I already have the emanage and aem ems. My question is has anyone moved or relocated the pump and hoses?
