Hey guys, I'm going to be installing my alarm this weekend and wondering if the hood release cable runs inside the drivers fender? The reason I'm asking and i don't know if you guys are aware, but some Honda's and Acura's run the cable that way, making it easy for thieves to gain access to you engine bay and disconnect the battery or siren before it goes of. This actually happened to my friends civic.
I relocated my cable already on my winter civic but I'm not sure if the S2 is setup like this and i don't feel like taking the plastic piece off inside the fender to find out.

according to the service manual the cable is routed behind the driver fender

Thanks for checking ed-gsxr. i was hoping it wasn't in the fender. I guess ill be relocating it as i did for my civic. You guys should consider this too as its very easy to get into our hoods without getting into the cabin.

ed-gsxr, do u also ride? i'm assuming by your name that you have a GSXR. I had a 750 but sold it this year

No problem anytime. Yea I have a 600 but I'm planning to sell it soon since it just sitting there most of the time after I got the S lol.
