Reinforced Differential Housing (S2000) By:Comptech
Has anyone install the Comptech Reinforced differential housing? If so, what is your input on this product. I'm going SC, so I'm scared that with the extra power and with my big wheels that I will have problems with my differential.

Chris-
I just had mine installed yesterday. I went the same way as Wes and had mine cryo treated as well. As far as I know, Wes has had no problems with his Comptech reinforced diff - it is still performing well.
I don't know that I would say this is an upgrade to do if there is nothing wrong with your diff. But, if you are rebuilding the diff anyway (doing a gear upgrade, etc), I would recommend it.

They take back your original so there is a core charge that is refunded when you send them your stock housing.

For those who have the reinforced differential and give it thumbs up, have you raced on it to put it through its tracks?
YS and Wes: Did you talk to Comptech prior to Cryo'ing your diff? Did they recommend this? Did you do all internals as well or just the housing?

I've run the car very hard. I've done everything but dropping the clutch. I was able to destory my ring and pinion gear but the comptech reinforced pieces were unharmed. I had everything except the Kaaz LSD treated. Comptech did not recommend this to me, it was recommended by other people.
