Hello, I'm on the point to finalise my S2000 Turbo project, which should be giving out more than 500HP once finalised. At this level of power, I do not think the stock differential will sustain a very long time.

SO now, I am asking the expert on the site, what solutions are available to reinforce the differential. Can some of you explain what you have done on your cars or what you would recommend? I have seen kits to reinforce the stock differential, I've seen complete replacement kits and even to put other cars diff on it to make it more solid (like the Nissan).

Any information would greatly be appreciated and thanks. Mike

If you're going to make 500whp and want long term durability.

1. differential
2. transmission

Each solution will run from a few thousand to a bunch-o'-thousand.
People who track their modified S2000s wind up eating through differentials and transmissions.

If you're just puttering around the street, then anything is fine.
Honda does a good job of not wasting engineering. The flip side is that you can't just "upgrade" one part without upgrading a bunch more.
