Reducing stock valve clearances?
Has anyone adjusted their valves to run .006" or .007" on the intake side and .008" or .009" on the exhaust side?
I used to run 7/9 on my k series with no issues and was thinking if I could do the same here?

I run .008 intake and .010 exhaust, which is the low end of the spectrum. I run it on the tight side because I can do my own valve adjustments and I will check them more than the recommended inspection interval.
If you are able to check your clearances on a regular basis you can run them on the tight side, I don't see a big benefit though and I prefer to stick to the spec range. Over time you will find that clearances get tighter with wear rather than looser, and if your exhaust valve clearances get too tight it is easier to burn a valve as they have less cooling time contact with the valveseats.
