Hi i have a few questions. I was under the impression that the normal spg would not hit the door panel, i'm on a buddy club rail, front is on 3 (middle) and rear is on the 1st (lowest). I did put some washers between the door panel insert which probably gave me an extra 1-3mm more space but still rubs
Would shaving down that long triangular foam piece help(between the actual door and door panel)
any advice is greatly welcomed!
edit- I also put one 1mm washer between where the rail and the seat makes contact to prevent marks and stuff.

You were under a mistaken impression. You can get the SPG in without hitting the door trim, but only if it is mounted a little off center (towards the tunnel).
But if someone has a solution I am all ears!

I have a Recaro SPG mounted on Buddy Club rail and I too rub the door ever so slightly. I'd just shave a couple millimeters off the shoulder bolster.

did anyone here ever try heating the back of the door panel and then pushing the door panel in, to make a little smooth divot for the seat to sit in... if you were so inclined you could make the divot cylindrical so you can slide you seat back and forth still...
or maybe the door panel is not structured internally so that is possible?
