Default Rebuilt title badluck (close topic)

i was doing a coilovers replacement when i notice the rebuilt side where the control arms bolt wasn't as perfect as the other side

any advices or comments on what i should do to prevent an accident...

Rebuilt title car shows signs of being rebuilt? I'm sorry you found this though! I've seen a couple S2000's that have had suspension damage and their subsequent repairs to the frame haven't been great. One friend had the suspension mounts repaired after they had already been "repaired" and he had the mounts reattached to the frame. I would get a bodyshop or structural engineer/welder to have a look at this and give you some feedback.

No big deal. Clean the rubber coating off the metal, clean the area really well, clamp the two sides together tightly and spot weld them together.

Any half decent body shop should be able to do it in an hour or so.

You want it fixed, but don't want someone fixing it? Body shop is your only option, mechanics aren't going to touch that.
