Default Rebuilding painted Calipers

I took apart a set of rear calipers to have powdercoated. The powdercoater said that he couldnt get them to match (what BS). Anyways, im now having them painted. They are going to mask off the seals and what not in the piston. I bought caliper rebuild kits. Amy I going to need it and what would need to be rebuilt? Thanks for any help and insight!

Its a little different as these are taken apart and also they are being painted with a spray gun, not hand painted. I PMed him to see if he has any insight.

I too am considering PC'ing some stock calipers. What issues did your guy have with PC'ing them?

TIA

Well all of the seals would have to be pulled out which wouldnt be a problem since I could rebuild them, but he said "he cant get a color close enough to match." Im having them cleaned, painted, and clearcoated, so hopefully theyll hold up on the rear. The painter is going to mask off the seals before he paints them, so Im not sure if they will need to be rebuilt. I took them apart into two pieces, but didnt remove any seals or anything. Any insight if they will need to be rebuilt?

Thanks!

If getting PC'd the seals would get baked from the heat, not that they don't get hot anyway from braking , the seals would (should) be removed prior to PC'ing and re-built afterwords.

I don't know, I 've been told that even PC'ing them they will turn to a$$ after tracking them anyway.

I'm torn on what to do.

That is my understanding. If you leave them in, theyll bake and ruin the seals. I think that they get hotter during PC than during tracking the car. Im hoping that the paint holds up on them!
