Rearend gear break in procedure

In cthree's car that we campaigned during OTC 2004, he installed a set of the 4.57 gears and they scream like a mother. It was exacerbated by the total lack of an interior in that particular car, so it was a scream and not a whine. Just the nature of the beast I guess.
As a single and probably useless datapoint, the 4:11 Richmond gears I had in my previous racecar (18 years ago) were also screamers.

I just got back from the install shop. They want to check tolerances etc as they feel the noise is excessive. So I am going to pull the diff (AGAIN) this Sunday and drop it off on Monday. I am hopefully get a few more opinions between now and then.
Stay tuned.
