Default Rear wheel getting HOT!

My driver's side rear wheel (rim) gets extremely hot to the touch. There's no brake smell which is typical of a caliper that doesn't release fully, etc. Also there's no grinding sounds of any sort. I haven't removed the wheel yet... waiting for it to fully cool off. The car is bone stock.

Any ideas? I figured maybe a wheel bearing.

Caliper pins that get jammed are the common cause... remove, clean, and lube.

Actually it was a sticking caliper. Nothing to do with the bearing. The brake pads on the driver's side, which was getting hot, measured a five and the right side pads measured a seven. I replaced both calipers, pads, etc.
