the aftermarket warrenty i have said they will pay for 2 rebuild axles from some no name place which cost about 650 for both, so instead of going for those i got one new one from honda, then imma take the cv joints and swap them from old right axle to the old left axle

Yes, I'm doing the swap tomorrow. Just replacing the axle won't cut it. The CV bucket is worn in one direction, but swapping them gives you a new/fresh surface since you are now wearing the opposite side of the bucket.
Lets both post up afterward and compare notes.
I started to do it last weekend, but the 6 (14mm) bolts on the CVs would NOT budge to save my life. Even sprayed them with liquid wrench. I had to break down and buy an impact wrench. I'm gonna be victorious this time!!!!

I've got the same problem, but it's only when I accelerate. A friend of mine with an S had it fixed at a local shop that had figured out the problem. Cost him about 900, but I can't quite remember what it was that needed to be replaced but i'll find out and let you know.

Well to update.....
I completed the inner CV bucket swap this weekend. BINGO, problem solved. The car accelerates as smooth as butter and feels fantastic (again).
The (6) 14mm bolts were nothing to get loose in comparison to the 36mm axle nut. I broke 2, count 'em 2 beaker bars trying to get these off. I soaked them with liquid wrench and used a 1/2" drive breaker bar (24") with a 36" pipe overlapping it for a combined length of about 4 ft. Got the passenger's side off, but the driver's side was a big fat NO! I snapped that sucker (breaker bar) and had to go back to the parts store for another one. Got back and snapped THAT one.
I finally had to break down and take the car to the tire shop down the street. I explained the situation, and handed them my 36mm (1/2" drive) socket, and BEGGED them to give it a try with their impact wrench. They were game, and the first attempt did nothing. However he took another shot at it and it SLOWLY broke loose, with a big cheer from me. He snugged it back on enough for me to get back home and the rest of the job was cake from there. I ran back to the tire store and dropped off a 12 pack of Corona for their trouble.
This was a fairly involved project, and I cannot stress enough the importance of having the correct tools. I had to make 5 trips to the parts stores in order to gather what I needed and/or replace broken tools.
If you follow the steps though, it isn't really that difficult and the end result is well worth the effort.

btw, the impact wrench I picked up from Harbor Freight was useless. Electric and rated at someting like 420 ft/lbs, that thing did little more than make noise. I took that sucker back for a full refund after the project was done. I had much more leverage with the breaker bar.
