rear suspension creaking/popping noises
I posted over in s2000 talk a week ago, but received no responses.. thought maybe people who browse this part of the forums would have some input
so heres the thing:
a couple of days ago, I noticed whenever I take a hard turn at maybe 7/10ths, I hear a creaking from the rear - it almost sounds like springs are being loaded/unloaded (sort of a creak/twang). now, it only happens when i take a right turn, then left. in other words, if i take two hard left turns, I won't hear the creaking noise on the 2nd left turn, but I will on the first. if I take a hard right, I'll hear it, then a hard left, I'll hear it again.
this leads me to believe that its the suspension, but I could be wrong..
is it possible that because its become much colder this week where I live that the springs are making this noise now? its just weird because in the past 2 years that ive owned the car, its never made any such noises like that..
I have 20k miles on it, and its been regularly maintained. synthetic after 10k, at every 3.7k, oil filters, diff fluid changed out at 15k..
does anyone have any sort of input on this? thanks in advance..

when i replaced my springs, after a few miles, i kept hearing this cracking or kling-king noise. after a few days of driving. i went back and opened the trunk and then i noticed that the spare tire was loose! i would first check if your spare tire is loose. good thing it was just that for me...but good luck!
