Rear Right Ultra Squeak
Our 2000 S has been having some squeaking issues since we got it. It had some Tein RA's which were replaced by the stock 00 units when we bought it from another board member. Recently the squeak has been getting really bad in the back (mostly from the passenger side). I did a search and also heard something about the A arm bushings and crawled under the car with a can of silicone spray to get all the bushings.
It hasn't gotten any better and is actually getting worse, the 00 coilovers re-installed on the car when we bought it had an estimated 30K miles on them and we've put another 10 so i'm wondering if they might be blown. I had a spare set of 02 springs/shocks with 1000 miles on them so I was thinking about putting them on.
Has anyone actually fixed a squeaking problem by replacing torn/ripped A arm bushings or should I just proceed with changing the coilovers?

Those can be a bitch to find. I had a similar experience several years ago. I let the dealer work with it. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...=0&#entry835857

So it was just a simple cleaning and relube? Were the bushings in good shape? How many miles on the car?

It was low mileage at the time. Bushings were fine. They just had to do some disassembly to get it lubed correctly.
Does anyone know what's acceptable to use to clean the rubber bushings (rubbing alcohol?)

Alright just got done putting some fresh 02 coilovers in the car and the squeak is still there and maybe even worse. One of the bushings on the rear upper A arm is torn, that's the only other thing I saw.
Anyone else have any ideas as to how to fix this short of just dumping it off at the dealer?
