Default Rear noise coming from the right rear wheel

I'm having this rubbing noise coming from the rear of my car. It happens when Im slowing down without applying the brakes. I tried to see if anybody had similar noises and it led me to believe it could be the wheel bearing. I'm not 100 percent sure because it sometimes doesn't make noise so and a wheel bearing will just get worse as I continue driving the car. If anybody can help me diagnose if it is te wheel bearing I would appreciate it thanks.

I has a similar noise comming from my rear wheel. I looked it up on all data and it turms out there's a TSB for that. They said its actually the grease that gets dirty and worn and needs to be changed. Havnt gotten the time to do this but when I do I'm gonna change the bearing too since everything is apart anyways. Hope this helps. And if u do end up doing this please post results I'm very curious bout this.

I have a similar problem. I thought mine might be the outer CV joint since I'm lowered. Either way, I need to get it fixed soon. I have some half shaft spacers to go on it as well.

Cv joint noise is highly unlikeky.

Don't bother with spacers.

Any rotational noises in the rear of the S2k is 95% the axle nut. There a thread now in uth about nut torque 220 or 240. Ck it out.

I had this exact same noise on mine and here is what I did.

I started by changing the wheel bearings...didn't help so I got online and found that a lot of people used half-shaft differential spacers so I ordered some and installed them and the noise went away for a few days and then started up again. I decided to give in and take it to my mechanic and he found that there was a build up of rust and dirt in the grease just like mmm...vtec said above. I would inspect your grease and replace it!

What grease??

The grease in the bearing is sealed.
