just as an FYI...the threads on the ball joints are pretty easy to destroy, it's probably not the best idea to use an impact on them

I cannot seem to get these ball joint bolts to seat enough to torque them they just keep spinning. I have the lower A-arms on jack stands, so the weight of the entire rear end is on them and still nada. Suggestions??

What do you mean by not seating correctly? What is not seating correctly?
If worse comes to worse, you could slot the bottom of the stud with a cut-off tool (which has a thin cutting disc). This would allow you to hold the stud in place with a flat blade screwdriver while tightening with a wrench.

Got them all "tightened, but what I mean is that the "bolt" part doesn't seem to be dropping all the way down into the hole on the A-arm. Give me a second and I'll post pix.
