Default Rear gear set impressions and intallation

We've shipped nearly 20 rear gear sets in the past month or so, including 3 4.77's. I'm eager to hear about installation experiences and driving impressions, now that many more people have them.

4.44's were installed Tuesday last week. It's a great mod, best one I've added to the car. The car feels a lot better at low end. Am hearing a bit of humming, installer says it's normal for a 4.44. By the way thanks for great service.

Hey rick. I installed the set myself with my friend. Works great and there's no humming. I used the Helms manual so i knew all the torque specs and backlash.

I've got all the parts (they came FAST!), now I'm just searching for the mechanic. I know I'm supposed to do it the other way around, but I couldn't wait.

Would Honda install them? I know it would void warranty, but you think they will install?

good luck
I wouldn't want to wait 1000 miles to see if the noise goes away. If it is making noise, it probably isn't going to last that long.
