Just did one on a car with 36k miles.
Swapped the CV buckets from side to side in 1.5 hrs, car is good as new. Band clamps are a great design, and can easily be unlocked and re-used hundreds of times...

I'm going to try to get mine done this weekend. I have already order the new joints from Honda, but I might see how well the swap works before dropping the $450 for parts.
