okay..we took out the spring..put it back in..torqued the bolts, the bushings all seem to be fine
and the noise only occurs when the car is cold...after about 10-15mis of driving it goes away!?!?
any ideas/!?!?

When you had it all apart, did you grease the bushings?
You could also just have a case of squeaky springs (sorta like squeaky bed springs). Try spraying the spring with a penetrant like Liquid Wrench and let it infiltrate the spring metal.

yeah we torqued it with the car down..marked the bolts with paint to see if they were moving...umm what else..siliconed the bushings, the spring itself..took apart the spring and put it back in..the noise was then gone...drove home (25mins away from shop) no noise the whole way..parked the car for a few hours...and the noise was back after starting it and reversing out of my garage...
we checked the shocks...they seem to be in good shape. not damaged, broken etc..
I'll try using the "liquid wrench" im gonna go out to the shop tommorow...umm what else...ohh greasing the bushings..like I said we used that silicone spray you recoommended... anything else we should be using!?!

Xviper...
today I took it in...we took the wheel off...and the shock/spring combo out..wiggled the control arm...no noise...jacked the control arm up with a hand jack..no noise....sprayed the bushings anyways, and put everything back together....drove away..no noise..I thought it was finally fixed...got home..the noise was there again! ahhhh!! tommorow I think we're going to take out the bushings and see if they're all okay, if not we assume its going to be the shock itself...and then I'll cry for the price of that I'm sure

Good luck. It could still be spring noise. Before you buy new shocks, maybe drive it down the road and have another car pace you. Have the other driver look at the tire to see if the shock is performing properly (at least visually). If it's going, he should see the tire bounce uncontrollably over bumps. Also, if you hear it in the car, have the other driver drive next to the wheel in question and get a description from him. Then compare notes. I can't explain it in print but generally, a bad shock noise will be different from a squeaky spring noise.

thank you for all of your help I really appreciate it...I keep saying to him about the spring but he keeps saying that the chances of a spring defect are next to none...even though they are under warrenty cuz they're only 3 weeks old and have been dong this since I got them!...only thing I can think of is to take the spring out..put my stock one in..and see if it makes the noise...although the car would ride and a messed uip height...it may prove the shop wrong?
