Rear end noise

Rear end noise
The rear end's been slighty louder than normal but I dont have my convertible top assembly so the cars always had more road noise than normal. I noticed that when i put the car in neutral and took a hard right that the rear end started making the sound it makes when i'm engine breaking, but the car was in neutral... The car also started to shake for about 5 seconds when i left a light today but then stoped and kept driving like normal. Anybody had these symptoms?
Also, is there anyway to tell if the rear end is going by taking off the rear cover or looking for play some where? Any input's appreciated.. Thanks

Just fixed the cv's. It only vibrated for a moment and stoped.. Here's a video of the drivetrain running under the car:

The engine runs strong.. You can hear the difference between the engine and the rear end when the clutch is let out in the begining and then depressed again.
If the rear end is making noise but not broken yet then it can be overhualed right? Or does the case get damaged?

About the video:
That first "clunk" when the propshaft starts spinning could be just the sound of "getting rid of the play" in the driveline (trans-propsh-diff-cv's)
The noise when the wheels are turning.. kinda noisy for a diff I guess.
Can you pin point the noise at the diff?
(ruling out the wheel bearings)
Do you hear loud noises from the diff when you go from forward to reverse?
If so.. not good.
Drain the diff oil.
Watch how the oil comes out.
How many shavings on the magnetic drain plug?
Any bigger chuncks?
What oil was in there, when was it last changed?
Is it the original diff?
Any changes to the propshaft companion flange done (swap from MY00-03 to MY-04)?
If the gears inside the diff are damaged you could rebuild.
If the bearing caps are still ok that is.
Note that the shavings will damage all the bearings and the Torsen.
(so I would start with draining the oil)

It makes alot of noise when i'm engine breaking now.. I've had the car since it had 72k miles and have changed the diff oil three times with mobil 1 75 90. Changed it last about 12k miles ago. The noise is definately coming from the rear end. I'll change the diff oil and see what it looks like. Think i'm going to be throwing in some 4.44's soon tho..
