Rear end
My car is a 2000 modle. In Jan 2010, i changed diff fluid(redline diff fluid) and trans fluid(oem) they have just over 12k on them. About 200 miles ago ive started to notice a "cirp chirp chirp" sound when coming to a stop. Now it does it most of the time while driving. I took it to a trusted honda/acura shop and they suggested i buy a new rear end. Many local people have s2000s with higher miles with me and no problems. I do not drag race my car, only road raced it a few events. I know how fragile these things are and i have taken great precaution to dead still launched and wheel hop. Anyone else have a problem this early in theyre s2000s life?

are you sure it's the diff, it could be the brakes or wheel bearings. we need more info to help you out.

i think i have the same problem..... do this... slow the car down with the brakes and then do it without the brakes. Mine does the "chirp chirp" when I apply the brakes. from 20MPH and down the "chirp chirp" is noticeable. make sure you do it with the top up and radio off. also which side do you hear the "chirp chirp" coming from? Mine comes from the rear driver's side or atleast thats where i think its coming from.
