I wanted the LE1605 but couldn't justify the cost. $40 per quart! That's insane! If you buy direct, the minimum qty is equally absurd, something like 5 gallons, but it's only like $10 per quart. Unless I get hard data that the LE is 4x as good as Amsoil, I'm not gonna pay ricks or anyone else that much for the fluid. Thats just my take.

Honda specifies a differential oil change every 30,000 miles; 15,000 for severe duty. What's that, 0.2¢ - 0.3¢ a mile at most?
I have no idea how frequently or if the former owner of my '06 changed the differential oil so I put LE-1605 in there last summer after I bought the car with 38,500 miles on it. I'll do it again probably this summer. Cheap enough and these cars ain't getting any newer!
