rear diff oil?
ive already decided to use amsoil gear fluid but which one?

my conditions for driving are mainly stop and go and we do get cold weather almost half of the year. so which one? thanks!

To the OP....I'm not sure of the variety of Amsoil to use, however the 2nd option seems to be for big-rigs. I love the service interval period of 500k miles - yowza!! Just hang on and somone will pipe in on their Amsoil diff fluid experience. I'll see what I can find in the archives.

The best AMSOIL gear oil you can use in the differential is SVT 75W-110. It will work well for you in the extreme cold (I don't know why anyone would drive a roadster in the extreme cold), and be perfect in hot summers too.

I was using mobil 1 75w90 with no problems. I am switching to redline in a couple days but really shouldn't make much of a difference in the diff. You will not notice any difference.
