Rear dif Question when Using FI
Hello All,
I have seen many posts with people on a FI system, such as a turbo or a SC. My question is how many people are still using the stock dif? I know that the S2k's dif is quite weak but I was curious on how weak the dif is and what dif would you guys recommend or what type of set up you would recommend? I'm thinking of going FI but I am worried about the rear end! Has anyone ever gone FI and have had not dif issues? I know that it depends on how people drive, but I was just wondering if the stock diff will hold up granted that the car is not subject to 7k clutch drops.
Thanks

S2quick, I have a comptech SC and I use the comptech diff. caps, they are billet caps that hold the rear end in place under hard clutch drops. I have never had a Diff. prob. but I am having some hub prob. I get some thumping when on the gas. Hope that helps.
