I have 17x9 +45 advan RG2s with a 245/40/17 right now. Running -3 degrees. Folded the fender lip in.

Never rubs. Lowered about 2'' rear.

You use the stock camber adjustment bolts. The S2000 has -6mm toe in the rear. That's what does all the tire wearing. The camber just exxagerates it. Camber by itself doesn't really wear tires much unless you're doing burn outs.

It's kind of a bitch to align at that spec. My friend was the alignment tech. We spent a little while getting it just right. The angles kept moving around as you moved one or the other lol.

You have to set camber more negative than you want it initially. Then set the toe. since neg. camber = more positive toe, you'll have to move the toe negative to make it read right.

Set the camber to around -3.5 degrees initially (if you want -3 as a final product). Then set the toe back down to factory. Check the camber. It should be pretty close to 3 at that point and you can just do some nudging adjustments to get it all right.

B_serious thats some great info.. I dont know how many times ive been to my local alignment shop and they have told me that they cant get more than XX camber or XX toe etc etc when they really just dont know how to align it.

yeah, alignment techs can be jerks sometimes lol. When we were doing mine, they all were just trying to direct my friend into doing 1 adjustment at a time without regard to the other angle.

I kept saying "there's an opposing camber/toe curve...it's easy, just set the camber more negative than you want and then move the toe negative to factory...it will equal out."

I got interrupted and ignored like 5 times until my friend FINALLY tried it my way. Funny thing is, after my way worked THE FIRST TIME, none of them said "oh I guess you were right" or anything. They just walked away.

Also, the amount of camber you can actually get out of the stock adjustment bolts is probably more than 4 degrees. It all depends on the ride height. If you lower the car by 2'', you will have around 2 degrees more negative camber to start with just from the geometry change.

Funky offsets will also load up the bearings.
