The piston looks used. The 2 marks on it (Top left and left top) suggest the piston has been rotated down using a large screw driver or other 'incorrect tool for the job' instead of the special tool used to compress it. I'd return it. There should be no marks on the piston period.

They remanufactured, so yes they have been used.
Just filed that down and install, that's not going to affect anything.

Still, they shouldn't give customers sht like that. In any case, have them sand it down.

Ty for the input, ill take it back and have them sand it down or get a different one. Honda said that it comes with a 3/36 warranty on all reman parts so it will be covered.

Haha I replaced the front calipers today and it was seriously easy... Just 2 17MM blots that hold the caliper in place and then not sure what size the brake line bolt was but I just took it off with an adjustable wrench.

The part that took me the most time was getting the pads into the calipers the first time lool, the new hardware was nice and tight so it took alittle foreplay to get it in ^^
