rear bumper damage - question
I hit a damn pole backing up ...don't think I was going over 5 mph, but it sure feels like I hit it hard. The rear bumper will definitely need to be repainted, but my concern is what damage might lurk underneath. Specifically, the bumper is now riding over the left rear quarter panel and pushed underneath the tailight, so something's probably tweaked underneath. In other words, although the bumper is not caved in (and the reinforcement underneath appears intact, it did not rebound to its original position). It appeared the inner fender liner (around the inside of the wheel well) was bent, so it may be causing the bumper to ride up the quarter panel. have I caused some substantial damage under there or what? I'll try and post some pictures. I just want to get some type of idea before I take it to a shop. thanks, guys.
