Hey guys does anyone know if they sell the rear lower ball joint seperately? I got the bolt off fine and the joint seperated fine but when i went to get the castle nut back on the ball joint sort of stripped? Anyone else have this problem?

how badly is it stripped? if it's not too bad you can just clean up the threads with a tap/die set. i've done it before with no problems

I got ya guys thanks alot. Im actually gonna try rethreading them first and see how that works. I really just dont want to goto a shop and press them out, then have them press them in it sounds like a pain in the arse

I think hardrace selling the ball joints.

http://www.hardrace.com/products.asp?strCl...11&strClass2=31

REAR UPPER ARM BALL JOINT (OE SYLTE) 2PCS/SET (6996)
REAR LOWER ARM BALL JOINT (OE SYLTE) 2PCS/SET (6998)

Call them up.

You can rent the ball joint press and the removal kit from Autozone or Kragan for free but they required deposit. Then you don't need to bring it to the shop.

And I found some oem ball joint from ebay but I am not sure about the quality. If your car is not lower, don't get the lower ball joint.

I hope this help.

When I called the 2nd number on his site minutes ago, the Acura dealer answered he didn't work there anymore. I got the same voicemail about softball as everyone else. That's all I got.
