Valves should be adjusted at room temperature.
I did my adjustment at 10k, and am now at 85k. In that 75k period, I have adjusted ONE valve only .001.
Bottom line, the adjustment will hold for a long time. That is IF it's DONE properly, AND it's CHECKED properly.
I work on BMWs during the day, so I know what they are all about. With that, I will NEVER own one
