Real quick favor
I'm in the middle of an arguement with my service manager. I need pictures to back up my case.
Problem...
The striker plates have worn to the point where the top barely makes a seal with the windshield. At speeds above 60 the top picks up, pulling the top from the seal. It is VERY loud; even louder than with the top down. I can bearly hear my 80W/channel 4 speaker sound system. I can make it go away by with pulling on the center handle or placing a cardboard shim between the striker plate and latch finger.
Why it is a problem...
The service tech is a F**king idiot, not to mention rude. He talks down to everyone including the service manager. He insists that the wear on the striker plate is normal. The S2000 has NO adjustment for the striker plate, only top tension which would make this problem worse. Since I have tracking the problem for six months, I know for a fact that it is the striker plate.
Solution...
I need a picture of a fairly new striker plate. I need to show the service manager that the part is worn, if not for my own sanity. Yes, I tried to get him to come out with me and compare mine with another one. He wouldn't have anything to do with it.
Conclusion...
Avoid Anderson Honda, specifically Chris, the service tech. Arrogant as hell!

Sorry to hear about your problem, but I'm not clear why you're putting up with this kind of service. Surely there's another Honda facility not too far from you. And maybe a note to Honda America about this guy's behavior wouldn't be out of line. I don't imagine they want that kind of person representing them.

That's exactly what I need. Thanks a million. I have a 1/8" grove worn in the striker plate. That is where latch fingers are resting. I knew I was right.
I don't have a my camera up, else I would show a picture of it.
