Readjustable trunk springs?

I'm guessing the rear of the lid, by that I mean the forward pointing tips.

If you shut something in the trunk that is just slightly off, it will tweak it. I found that out with a suitcase. Seemed kinda cheap to me, it was just a nib over what could fit and with most cars, you can push the lid down and it'll close. Not the S2000, if there isn't clearance and you shut something in there, it'll tweak.

yah there are rubber stoppers that you twist to adjust unless you shut something in there that was too big.
