There are two (2P) Connectors. One (2P) connector has two brown wires leading to it. It looks like in the EUDM this connector is called the SCC (Service Check Connector). This is the same as the USDM MES (Memory Erase Signal). This is for SRS only. You want the other (2P) Connector SCS (Service Check Signal).
(2P) Connector with 2 brown wires = SCC (not this one) = SRS Only
(2P) Connector with 2 unknown color wires = SCS (this one is you)
I'm pretty sure they are both pictured in the photos you posted. However I can't make out the colors. I'm reading that the SCC (not you) has the brown wires from EUDM manual. I haven't found the wire colors of the SCS connector (that's you) in the EUDM manual.

The only 2 pin connector on your AUS car in the green connector holder is the SCS connector.

Now I'm confused. Is the other connector pictured (3P)? I triple checked the wire colors for the SCC/MES connector (the one he dosen't want), they should both be brown (EUDM anyway). Is the SCC located in the cabin fusebox like our MES then?
What color are the wires leading to the (2P)SCS connector?
What color are the wires leading to the (2P)SCC/MES connector?
If the SCC/MES connector is (2P) and has brown wires is it simply not pictured?
What is the (3P) connector pictured if that's the case?

Is this right except that the SCC is not pictured? A (3P) connector instead?

The SRS MES connector will always have a yellow connector shell.

The 3 pin connector pictured is for scan tool use for non- OBD II cars, Both a seperate 2 pin SCS and 3 pin Diag connector like those pictured on the AUS car where standard US market OBD-I cars.

Thanks man, so the SCC/MES connector is yellow, not pictured, and probably in the same location as ours in the cabin fusebox/panel? I could not tell that connector was (3P) from the pic or make out the wire colors to be sure. Are the wires brown for the SCS too?

So:
OBD-I (3P) pictured
SCS (2P) pictured
SCC/MES (2P) not pictured

It's weird I have been looking more at the EUDM manual and AUS cars must be at least a little different. Maybe closer JDM? The EUDM cars appear to at least have a (16P) DLC for communications with PGM tester. The EUDM manual also covers the F20C1 and C2, and has info on the imobiliser (with an "S") system. I didn't know any countries in Europe got that. Anyway I have never seen those connectors and thought both were (2P). Since I couldn't find the wire colors of the SCS only SCC which I guess are brown instead of our green and not knowing the connector remains yellow. I could only say which one he didn't want. Also the EUDM dosen't show the exact location of their SCC/MES connector, just it popping out from under the dash. That's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it.

i know this is an older tread, but i cant seem how to find out how to do the paperclip trick. If someone would be so kind enough to take pictures and point out the areas where i need to use the paperclip id be grateful. thanks guys

Does anyone know how to reset EPS w/o PGM tester in AUS s2000? I figure it's got something to do with shorting something...

What I gathered, but haven't confirmed...

3P connector: diagnostics port for non-OBD tools?
1 - Battery
2 - Ground
3 - K Line (Data feed)

2P connector: when shorted, it will return the car to throw codes when ign is ON.
1 - SCS
2 - SCS

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...
