Boss-S2K,
Chances of a new alt. from Honda being bad is very remote. New Honda batteries are so-so, actually manufactured by Interstate. Still, both covered by Honda, alt=12mo/12k, and the battery should by 100 month, free replacement for 36mo. But.......... I wouldn't keep throwing parts at it. Take it to a Honda dealer or a good independent that you know and trust and have it checked out. Charging systems today are very complex and involve many components. The Honda dealer you bought the battery from should be willing to check it with the electronic load tester at no charge, we (our dealership) would. Just want to make sure tha battery is good and go from there. Good luck.

Actually, I work at a Honda dealership and I did take it there and that's why I purchased the parts that I did. But trying to save myself some money and see if there are other possible reasons for this.

Coming from the battery the Positive lead (+) splits off to two leads. One powers the main fuse box next to the battery, the other powers the smaller fuse box located on the left inner fender well by the clutch Master cylinder. The larger fuse box then has a (+) lead coming off to give direct power to the Alternator. The smaller fuse box has a (+) lead going directly to the Starter and also powers the Air Pump. Each lead should be checked for continuity.
